Hip-HopYoga…What? Article Published!

Yoga Chicago has published Carla Tantillo's article Hip-HopYoga…What? in the September / October 2007 edition of Yoga Chicago's publication! In the article Carla Tantillo discusses how Mindful Practices' fused yoga with hip-hop to create, the now highly successful program, Hip-HopYoga. Despite students being skeptical at first, the Hip-HopYoga program gained considerable momentum and is now one of the most requested programs. Here's what one student had to say about the program, "At first, I thought it would be lame. And I was scared of what everyone would think about our performance. But when I started coming to practices, I enjoyed it so much. I think having programs like Hip-HopYoga is important because it is not only fun, but it gets kids off the streets and out of danger."
