Mindful Practices is an organization dedicated to bringing wellness to communities from all walks of life.Under the dynamic leadership of Founder, Carla Tantillo, Mindful Practices has quickly become one of Chicago’s leading school wellness organizations. Acclaimed for its student-centered and culturally relevant approach to wellness education, the organization features educators, social workers, dancers and administrators who display unparalleled versatility in their approach to engaging teachers, students and communities from all walks of life.

With Carla’s direction and the creative input of movement educator, Amy Hori, Hip-HopYoga™ was born in 2007 to fuse the benefits of yoga and the benefits of Hip-Hop in a culturally relevant and student-friendly medium.
